MossyScripts is a place to discover, learn from, and share Roblox code. These guidelines help keep the library useful for everyone.

Share work you have permission to share

Publish your own scripts or code you are allowed to redistribute. Credit original creators and preserve applicable license notices. Include license terms in your source or link to the original project.

Keep scripts transparent and safe

Describe what your script does, how to set it up, and any permissions it needs. Do not publish malware, credential theft, hidden destructive behavior, or code designed to compromise another person’s account or experience. Use scripts only in experiences you own or have permission to modify.

Help the next creator succeed

Use a descriptive title, choose a relevant category, and add useful tags. Include dependencies and setup instructions. Avoid misleading claims, duplicate spam, and inappropriate content. Keep your update notes clear.

Understand verification

A verification badge means a moderator reviewed the submission. It is not a guarantee that code is free of bugs or suitable for every project. Read source code, check dependencies, and test changes in a separate development experience.

Report problems

Use the Report button on a script to flag malicious, misleading, stolen, or inappropriate content. Give specific details so moderators can investigate. Reports are reviewed by moderators, and moderation decisions are recorded in an audit log.

Moderation

Moderators may hide scripts or remove verification. Administrators may suspend accounts that violate these guidelines. Report tools must not be used to harass creators or make knowingly false claims.
